Leather/bear bar with edgy weekend cowhide club
Bad Dog offers a warm, friendly atmosphere that invites conversation. It hosts a variety of fetish parties, so check the website to find out the week's special theme. It is very involved in local LGBT projects and is home to St. Louis boys of leather.

bad dog bar is at it orginal location. If you looking for Bad Dog Saloon, it close over a year ago. New bar is best described as a bad basement "wreck" room. Confusing layout with uninspired surroundings. The service is slow and unnecessary attitude is the most common item passed accross the bar. I saw very little in the way of a leather crowd. In the several chances I gave the bar to raise to the hype of "bigger, better and badder" it failed. Most of the time the bar had very few patrons and by 11pm most people had left the bar to party else where. Not on my top ten list of must see bar.

Stopped by the bar and was greeted by friendly staff from the doorman to the bartenders to the guy working in the shop. Was busy the nights I have went. Have gone Wed, Fri and Sat and all the evenings have been packed. Loved them having the Wii with bowling for free for me and my friends to play.

I checked this place out on a whim a few weeks ago because a friend told me that there were "Fetish" friendly. I have gone out to a few of the clubs here and pretty much all I see is Bears and basic Leather. There are a lot more flavors out there I know! The Bad Dog has a great Thursday night Fetish Night with a different one each week. We had a blast with the Wrestling/Singlets last week. Their shop tries to carry at least something for the week's fetish. The food they have is great and can't wait to see what they serve when the Grill opens soon. Smoking is allowed (until the city says no at least) and even on the busiest nights it's not unbearable as far as being too smokey. If you are younger, they won't snub you just because you aren't the 40 and up at some of the other bars plus they have pool, darts and wii now which is so much fun! I saw the Country Western dance lessons and it was a big crowd (even though you would never see me out there)

You don't have to be 40 and up to have fetishes. I'm a younger guy and love to meet others that a kinky side and St Louis finally has a place that can happen. The only other choices were places that were downright scary and at the Bad Dog and especially with their Thursday night fetish night I can go and meet other kinksters of all ages. It's more than that though. The bar as you come in the door is warm and friendly like a Gay version of Cheers. Drinks are decent prices and than have some good happy hour specials too. Come on, I know there are other younger kinky guys out there, come on down and lets rock it!

Everyone has always been friendly with me even though I'm a sport biker and not a traditional Harley biker. I love the variety of fetish nights they have. Joe, the guy that does the rope demos is amazing! If you want to have a good time, if someone says hello to you say hello back. It's all in how you act and react to others.
After waiting for months it's back! I think the bartenders are awesome and have never seen an attitude at least at the new place. I go to relax, chat and have some drinks not smell the bartender clear across the room. The guys there now are hot, awesome and friendly and most will even remember what you drink from time to time. The new back bar LURE is a lot of fun and looking forward for them to get the cross back up. I have been there a couple times for the Wed night happy hours and the food and drinks are always top notch. When I came in this past weekend, I was greeted by the staffer Tyger who was more than happy to show me what all the new place had to offer. It really is great and can't wait to see where it's growing from here. All the bars in the neighborhood need to get together for a happy hour night bar crawl!
