I decided to check out this bar.I have heard many things about this place from good to bad!The drag show is sad ,not very entertaining.The people here were not that attractive and some what cold.There was one bartender here that was really sweet!Kinda of tall, brownish hair ,thin built.Sexy lookin!!!! :)Drinks here were not bad.Overall I guess a ok place for a quick drink!

I found this bar a while back and I have got to know the owners they are great guy's to get to know. There are some nice pepole that go there. I have fun playing dart's and shuffle board. The bartenders are very nice if you get down that way make sure you stop in and have a drink and some fun.

this place is great. nice people, good drinks, and a full size shuffle board to boot. Love the weekly shuffle board tournaments on tuesday nights. a few drag queens and trannies but they don't bother you if you're not interested. Always great service and good drink prices. Maybe they just don't like the other person who says they overcharge. It never happens to me. I always have a great time when I go.

The bar itself is ok ,the owners are ok some of the time,other times a real prick!But W.T.F with the drag queens!These are the ugliest performers I have ever seen.Instead of giving tips, hand out dental plans!And rude they want you to tip for a crap show but an ass to you after wards!What the Hell????I love drag shows!There are some awesome performers out there,but this show is C R E E P Y!Where are the cute guys at,been here a couple of weekends and not a cute boy in sight!Just dont know!

I'm like the good service and friendly atmosphere. I like some of the people and others not so much. A very warm and cozy bar that anyone can have a good time at.

hey, whats with the negative? Sounds like someone has his skirt in a wad where it shouldn't be. I love going there when I'm in town. John and Kevin, can't say enough good about you two, best hosts in the world. Bartenders are great, love the show too. Should be in town again in Oct, see you then. Now, all you naysayers, keep the personal b.s. off of here, lets have fun. This bar is AWESOME!!!

I really enjoy this bar! I drive 35 minutes away to go to this establishment. Sable Sinclaire is a great performer!! In response to the "old Queens" mentioned in a previous review- Jazzelle Boyette is a very new up and coming personality. Adria Andrews is a title holder in the fair city of St.Louis. Tasha Romaine is also a title holder in the fair city of St.Louis. Also, in response to Bonnie Blake- Bonnie has been around a LONG time and has paid her dues!!! Shame on amy club in St.Louis that would not honor her request for a show!!!! Without her doing what she did in this city you wouldn't see any of the queens you enjoy( or don't enjoy) today. In conclusion I go to this club weekly, I enjoy the atmospher, the bartenders are friendly and accomadating, and the owners are nothing but gracious. If you haven't been check it out!!!

Sable Sinclair is my favorite drag queen!She is the only one that looks like a real female!And so very talented!I love watching you, girl,keep doing your thang!The rest of the drag queens are not so entertaining to watch!They could take a lesson from Miss Sable.How to perform and be kind to everyone watching!Someone wrote below about needing new drag queens, lol ,I agree!Some of these girls are just pityful to watch!As long as Miss.Sinclair is here I will be here!!!! :)

The people that go here are nice.I have always had a great time here,having a few drinks, playing darts,chatting with friends.My problem is with the drag queens.Everyone wants to say how great they are, how they put on a great show, but just not true!I have been here many many times.They walk around with a chip on their shoulder,rolling their eyes at you,giving you attutide, but yet want you to tip when they go on stage to perform.I like tipping for a good show time to time, but these so called girls are not worth it.The drag queens have been around for more than ten years and I guess are just burnt out!They dont perform like they use to, and just want to make a fast buck!Between old age and getting fat just not great to see anymore!Korners needs to get young fresh drag queens in here so everyone can see a great show and more tipping will happen!As always will be here later tonight!

Hey All, There seems to be alot of sad comments about Korners.This is a really nice bar.There are alot of nice people that go here,and a great way to make friends!!!!I do agree that the drag show is old and not entertaining,but you are always welcome to hang up front play darts chat with friends.Yes this is a small bar but can be just as fun as the larger one!I love going here, during the week as well as the weekends!The owners are nice for the most part but I can see why John gets upset alot.He put alot of money into the bar to make it nice, and I have seen guys drop cigerette dropping down and burn holes on the counter,sracthes on the furniture.There are some people who dont know how to respect other people s property.They are not use to having something nice,and just dont care!So if John seems angry he is just trying to keep his bar lookin good!Dont take it personally.If you go to this bar and dont like it,just leave.There is no need to wite mean things in the review!OK time for me to head on down for a cocktail!Everyone have a great evening! :)

With a great group of guys during the week it is hard to not enjoy yourself. Darts and Shuffle boards and video games and more it is hard to not find a way to have a good time. Friendly people behind the bar that are always right there when I need another drink.

Hi all I have read the comments below and WOW!Alot of different opinions!Lets begin, the drag show is a hot mess!Not worth checking out.So so so boring.But to go and have a cocktail not so bad!The people here do vary from cute to down right wierd!But hey whos cares , right?!!!!This bar is not as bad as some think,but check it out for yourself!Saturday nights are pretty busy!Have to go now but everyone have a great day see you soon!!!! :)

This bar is in a run down area where there is a good chance your car will get broken into!This is a drug infested area with hookers and ghetto pimps!This bar offers the worst drag show!These drag queens are not entertaining just lookin for a buck to buy drugs later!The owners of this place are rude unwelcoming and are driving off business!i have never seen a bar like this!I thought bars were places for people to come to and have a great time!Not here!Between the drag show and the owners being stupid who want this kind of treatment!Go somewhere else!You and your car will be safe!

I was there two saturdays ago, i wont be back the owner is very RUDE and uptight..He was yelling at customers telling them they had to move out of the way, and we were leaning up against a wall, not in no way in anyones way. The prices are way to high $5.oo for a rail drink, when you can get them for $3.00 elsewhere., The show they promote is awful, looks like a bunch of fat men in dresses, NASTY. The show are is very small only 12 seats. its about 12x12 area. The sound system sucks, my grandmas 1995 buick has a better stero. We put $5.oo in the jukebox, and when the show started he turned it off. we only heard 2 songs and were supose to get 8 songs.Alot of Tranny's at this place. only 2 attractive guys in the bar. rest of the 15 or so were 50's -70's. Also a bad neighborhood with no outside secutity...I SUGGEST YOU TAKE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME TO MANCHESTER AVE. OR TO THE GREY FOX FOR A REAL SHOW.

I was here recently and I dont know what to think!The bar itself was really nice but the people there were freaky!Iwas told the drag show was cool so I went to check it out!Scary Scary Scary!These drag queens were unattractive and just looked like men with bad makeup on!Some of them looked like they were druged up!Not a very big area for a drag show either!Wont be back ,I rather go to a bigger better gay bar then this one!

The owners of this bar are nothing short of first class gentleman. John and Kevin were great host and the place looks great. Very clean and nice. John and Kevin, you can assure I will return. Well worth the hour drive.

John, owner, really helps all of his customers enjoy this great bar/club! Lots of really nice people found here! Staff are all really friendly and provide great service!

From the first time we walked into Korners, John greeted us and introduced himself to us immediately. He then introduced us to everyone else that was within ear shot of where we were sitting. A definate 'must see' place now that the bar has moved(two doors down from the actually corner) and has been updated. This is a place that everyone is welcome!

I have been going out to the bars for many years in St. Louis and found Korners about 1 year ago. I have always felt out of place with all the picky queens out there and how unsocialable they are. At Korners they not only make you feel like family but John and Kevin the owners introduced me to everyone. Best of all they have First Rate Drag Shows!! Sable Sinclair is the headliner and the best thing that hit the stages in St. Louis, not only is she a great performer but she keeps the party going, she makes everyone feel special. The other performers such as Breanna Principal, Nikki Newman, Kelly LaBrock & Channelle Carrington just to name a few is no less that First Rate, no First Class!! Korners has moved to there new location 2 doors down at 7109 S. Broadway. This is not a bar it's a Nite Club with a look that is first rate and all class. The best thing about Korners is that EVERYONE IS WELCOME from Gay, Straight, Transgender and everyone in-between. If you want to have fun I recommend Korners.

Living in South County, I stopped by Korners because it was the closest 'Gay Bar' to the county, not knowing what to expect. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised!! John, the owner, was behind the bar, and makes you feel very welcome, with a friendly 'Hello!!!' and great conversation. They have a dart league and 'shows' on the weekends. A very diversified crowd there, too! Alot of straight neighborhood people, younger to older, straight, TG's, cross dressers, gay (of course) men and women of all professions, from doctors to electricians to food servers! So, there is a little something for everyone! John told me about the new place being built, just 2 doors down. MUCH larger and a seperate 'area' for the shows, and for darts. They have planned their expansion to their customers likes and dislikes. What more could a person ask for!?! Check it out...I/m sure that you will fell the same way as I do!!

I cannot believe someone wrote a bad review. John and Kevin have always treated me great and it is a place where anyone can come and feel welcome. I never come to St Louis without going to Korners. I feel at home there. To Randy you need to go to a different place if you want but I'm happier going to Korners than any other place I've been.

I think Korners is a great place to meet new friends. I have been there many times and they always make you feel welcome and glad your a customer. They offer great service, drinks are reasonable and they shows are dazzleing. Great costumes and lovely ladies grace the stage. You will feel very safe and comfortable at Korners. Don't miss this one!

I have been to quite a few bars in the Midwest, and none, I repeat NONE have made me feel as welcome as John and EVERYONE at Korners. My first time there, they made me feel as if I was a regular, (like Norm from Cheers). I HIGHLY reccomend this "oasis"!!!

I found the best kept secret in St. Louis, a bar call Korners. This bar is open to everyone, Gay, Straight & Transgender in other words, if you want to have fun on the weekends go by. They have drag Shows that are the best I have ever seen and monthly parties. The Owners John & Kevin made me feel right at home and the headliner Of this first rate, first class show Sable Sinclair knows how to make her Audience very welcomed. Found this place on the internet. Depends on what you are looking for. If you are a kid and just want to get laid, maybe not your place. First time there, the owner introduced himself, and his staff and some of the regulars. Made me feel very welcome. The crowd was very diverse. GLBTS. The neighborhood is quiet and someplace I felt safe. The weekends can get a little wild, but that is what you want in a bar.

This is not the best place to be and you CANNOT HAVE FUN at this bar the owner is an uptight A-hole that gets crazy if a chair is out of place, the juke box cannot be loud...even though you pay to play it...there has never been a drink special on any night that I have been much less happy hour...the prices of the drinks are more than you pay at a big club...$3.50 for rail drinks and $3.00 for domestic beer..that is outrageous for the part of town that it is in....and if your looking to get laid look somewhere else cuz there is not a good variety of people in there...it is more for outcast that would'nt show show their faces in a big club....so you make the choice...i do not recommend it
