SLU SAB Presents: Icona Pop

We are pleased to announce that ICONA POP will be performing on Thursday, October 23rd as part of the Campus Consciousness Tour (CCT)! Free tickets to SLU undergrad students. Stay tuned for pick up information! Icona Pop is a Swedish DJ duo with electro house, punk and indie pop music influences. The two members Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo, who grew up in Stockholm, create music "which you can both laugh and cry to at the same time". http://www.iconapop.com/ Half music tour, half environmental campaign, CCT aims to inspire and activate students in an electric atmosphere while leaving a positive impact on each community the tour visits. In addition to educating and mobilizing students, the tour is run to have a minimal environmental footprint. CCT is a project of REVERB, an environmental non profit dedicated to educating and engaging musicians and their fans to take action toward a more sustainable future. REVERB has worked on over 150 major tours (Dave Matthews Band, Maroon 5, fun., Jack Johnson, etc.) and created CCT specifically to engage students right where they live--on campus.
