The Sad Girls Club

You are invited to a show unlike the rest. In a city saturated with drag shows, its a rarity to find a show that seeks to distinguish itself not through doing the "best" drag (whatever that means), but through doing the realest drag. The Sad Girls Club seeks to dismantle the idea that drag perfomers should always present a cheerful and optimistic face, handling even the saddest songs with exaggerated hand gestures and over-done lip shakes. This show will seeth with real, raw emotion as our performers seek not necessarily to "entertain" but to express, emote, connect, and share with you, the audience. Join us in the intimate, non-club environment of STyLehouse for an all ages drag experience. There will be a $5 honorarium at the door, all of which will support the artists. Alcoholic beverages will be available to those over 21 for an additional donation, further supporting the artists.
