Warehouse Feel - Odd Mix - Late hours

Not too far from Rehab/Just Johns/Nowaks. Although we were cautioned several times not to walk that it is in a sketchy area. It is located in a warehouse type building under a highway viaduct. No major signs draw you in and it blends in with the other buildings and does not have an outdoor features to alert you its a bar/club from the outside. Inside the first bar is a hallway seated bar with side tables. Darker, but made for casual conversation. Main room is a large open 2 story room with a square bar and dance floor. There is also an elevated platform to stand and look over (not down on) the crowd. The night I was there it was packed. They have a super high platform they had drag queens and leather guys crowing prizes off of. This is the only late hours bar in the area 3:00am, as the other bars down the street close much earlier. Crowd was more of a sloppy crowd. I wouldnt say circuit boys, but more of your average jo's getting drunk. Very very mixed crowed by age wise and body type.

Good Place

JJ's is the first place I wentto in STL. I actually went to N Market in trying to find it. Boy was I in the wrong area. Great staff, Richard the bartender was fun and engaging. I'll be back.

pretentious in its own way.

people always claim twink bars are pretentious, and they are. but this bar is has its own degree of snobbery. don't bring your female friends here! they aren't respectful of them. it has a huge dance floor and two large rooms. one that often plays more rock music and the other dance music. some of the people who go here tend to take pride in their own BO, which can be quite disturbing. surprising though, outside of the bears, there can be quite a mix crowd of people. attracts a lot of crowds so can be quite fun in that aspect as well.

Best bar in town

The staff and clientelle at JJs are super friendly. Catering to all types of men from bears to daddies and twinks, everyone will fin something to like in what is one of the physically largest bars in St Louis and one of the largest bear/leather bars in the nation.

Best Bar in STL

This would be the best leather bar, best bear bar, and even best dance club in St. Louis. Very full, very festive, and even has a lot of good-looking guys, which is extremely rare to see at this type of bar.
