Erney's 32 Degrees (Closed Permanently)

(33 Ratings)
Swanky vodka bar
With a 32-degree walk-in freezer for tasting vodka, what more could you really need? Saturdays are packed at Ernie's, as the crowd flocks in for the swanky interior and $10 all-you-can-drink deal.

comfortable place

great outside area. Really cute inside. Clean and friendly. Skews younger. Again there were quite a few str8 chicks- what is with the midwestern gays having to bring out str8 girls with them? Grow up. Drinks were pricey and not strong, but the crowd was outgoing and chatty. Had fun here.

Ultra Lounge Feel - New Age

Very new age/ultra lounge type feel. Was a young and more uptight crowd that are more image conscious then some of the other bars. Main bar and dance floor bar. Large dance floor. Drinks were good. Similar to Mini Bar in Chicago if your looking for comparassion

No Place better for shots

Great concept. I've traveled all over and never seen a place like this. Crowd was younger as others have pointed out, but was a fun time. Me and a friend went on a Thursday night and was just fine. The walk in GLASS freezer was pretty amazing. Bottles of liquor on the wall chilled to, yepp, 32 degrees. Staff walked us in, we did and you do the shot within the walk in. Fun experience. Never seen anything like it before. If you like shots, this is the place to go and do them.

Good and Bad. What are you looking for?

The bar is one of the nicer places in saint louis in terms of aesthetics. It actually feels like a bar from a real city, which this city lacks. Never a cover charge and reasonable prices. Yes, it is a twink bar and a lot of the people are snotty, but not everyone. It is also is a way too small for what its trying to be.

Stuck Up

This bar needs to get over it. If you are looking for fun and great conversation this is NOT the place to be. These peeps are a bunch of snobs and are so into themselves they can't possible know what real people are about.
